I paint to make sense of my world when words fail me. And that happens more often than I’d like to admit. My focus is on the process of making art rather than the end result.

My work is narrative. I weave thoughts, emotions, and observations to tell a story in or of nature. The storyline content is expressed through color, symbolism and other visual means. . My process is a continuous sequence of drawing and painting. The layering of imagery delivers richer colors and well loved surface textures. The energy or overall vibe in my work is uplifting yet serene.
